• University degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) or proven performance in logistics/commercial/supply chain management • 4-6 years working experience in a management position (preferable in distribution, retail, logistics or similar) • Proven successful leadership in a big organisation, delivering both business result and people development • Retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service experience and interest • Experience of working as a management team member with proven ability to make a difference by positively influencing the business directly as well as through good collaboration • Knowledge of labour laws and third-party relations (unions, external service providers etc.) • Experience in securing the implementation of mid-term and long-term strategies and plans and set/follow up goals • Proven ability to influence in a matrix organisation • Successfully lead projects or processes on country/market/national level • Good coaching and/or mentor, advisory and facilitation skills, conflict management skills and problemsolving experience • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
· Collaborates in securing high performing daily operations connected to the assigned central fulfilment unit including standard operating procedures, planning, execution, follow up and day to day continuous improvement of operations, relevant negotiations, IWAY and legal compliance with a focus on quality in all touchpoints for the lowest possible cost. · Supports in securing the budget and results connected to the assigned central fulfilment unit and to initiate actions when necessary to optimize costs in order to contribute to the performance, productivity, cost development and efficiency of central fulfilment operations. · Collaborates in securing implementation of new warehousing processes, technology and ways of working in the central fulfilment unit to support in securing a seamless, consistent and positive shopping experience. Strengthens the competitive position by building a strong IKEA Brand position, co-develops the Market Growth Plan and the Market Commercial Plan and provides input on local priorities. Knowledge and experience of meeting and interacting with external media. · Accountable for creating a safe and secure working environment and securing compliance to Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs). Ensure that the market works ethically and in compliance with internal regulations and external laws including legislation relating to risk, environment, health and safety. · Leads in securing efficiency and continuous improvement to reach excellence in operations as defined in the Customer Fulfilment Business Plan and the Operational Handbook agreement including delivery performance, quality and productivity improvements as well as cost optimization. · Leads the collaboration and cooperation of the unit with key partners and stakeholders on all levels including the market and community, social partners, group, internal, external, within and outside of INGKA. Including: representation of the central fulfilment unit in related decision bodies, contribution with both knowledge and expertise to optimal operational and multichannel development, related business- and process forums, sourcing activities as well as to all matrices, global and market initiatives and competence networks. · Leads in securing seamless communication with all relevant stakeholders connected to the unit's operations both within and outside of INGKA strictly following a customer-centric, collaborative, end-to-end and process-oriented mindset. May be responsible for managing a foreign trade zone and supplying other IKEA areas. · Represents IKEA values and nurtures a strong IKEA culture that inspires co-workers to reach extraordinary achievements in all customer meeting points. Secures a culture of interdependent leadership with shared ambitions and goals. Identify and develop the many talents within the market to secure succession planning. Responsible for leading, coaching and developing a high performing unit organization and Unit Management Team including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning. Responsible for creating and actively maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion, and well-being. · Leads in promoting and stimulating entrepreneurial orientation in the assigned central fulfilment unit and to secure contribution to knowledge sharing, knowledge management, improvement, development and innovation activities. · Collaborates in the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda in the assigned central fulfilment unit. Supports in the integration and implementation of the People & Planet Positive strategy in the retail market. Works closely with the sustainability business partner team who keeps country overview and secures that the market is moving at set pace in line with Group, country direction and societal expectations. · Performs other duties as assigned. · Contributes to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
