We are looking for an experienced people leader who is interested in working at a collaborative fast fast-paced retail organization to lead our North America Close process. This person will be responsible for ensuring we have a well-managed close, consolidations, legal entity, and intercompany processes for assigned legal entities. They will also play a central role in developing processes post-implementation of SAP S4 Hana. We are looking for someone who is able to balance their accounting policy, operational, and system expertise to lead the team through several exciting initiatives, build relationships, and provide thought leadership into our future state vision. Responsibilities · Lead a team of motivated co-workers responsible for overseeing our month-end close process. · Coordinate and collaborate with our shared service centers during the month-end close process. · Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities to drive positive change across the organization. · Assist in managing the annual audit of IKEA’s financial statements, including review and follow-up on audit findings and recommendations. · Supports the global accounting function in the creation, adaptation, and review of proposed global common accounting rules and recommendations. · Develops effective working relationships with finance, tax, and legal, and interacts effectively with all levels of the organization. · Provides a consistent level of support across all business channels. · Conduct performance evaluations, frequent one-on-ones with co-workers’ supervisors, and provide career pathing and training. Ensure staffing requirements are met by assessing resource requirements, interviewing candidates, and hiring employees. Provide and foster a team environment to include individual development, promotions, and provide direct constructive feedback. JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-time BENEFITS ELIGIBLE: Yes Hybrid workplace: 3days in the US Service Office and 2 days remote Salary Range: $105,190.00-$156,291.00 "Thank you for your interest in applying for this role.
