Best Buy and IKEA U.S. have partnered to pilot new in-store planning and shopping experiences that combine the latest and greatest major appliances from Best Buy with the well-designed, functional and affordable home furnishings from IKEA. At the IKEA in Best Buy experience, customers can also receive support from IKEA co-workers to plan and order home furnishing solutions and Best Buy’s blue shirts will also be in the store to provide advice on electronics. Work Location- Best Buy, 550 N Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33426 Job Type– Permanent, Full-time, 38-40 hrs week Benefits eligible-Yes Hours – Open availability seven days a week Pay rate- $26.17-37.39 Thank you for your interest in applying for this role. What you'll be doing day to day

• Creating a customer-centric environment that empowers a diverse group of co-workers to support the customers in a meaningful way • Building, leading, inspiring, coaching & developing a diverse team of engaged, attentive, and knowledgeable co-workers • The Sales Design Leader will be providing an exceptional IKEA shopping and brand experience to visitors and customers • Utilizing knowledge and experience of interior design and home furnishings in order to provide inspiring solutions and service offerings to IKEA visitors and customers. • The Sales Design Leader will be partnering with appropriate field support partners (Compliance, HR, Safety & Security, etc.) to ensure adherence to all company standards of processes & procedures. • Analyzing business reports and trends and works with other leaders and co-workers to take appropriate steps to grow the business in support of the co-worker, customer, and overall organization.

Qualifications

First Aid Certification required CPR - CPR certification required Powered Mobile Handling Equipment Operator / Trainer License, varying depending on the location. 3-5 years of external retail management or 3 years of internal leadership experience. Experience managing, leading and developing a team, preferably in a retail, commercial, hospitality, and/or food environment. Experience meeting agreed budgets and goals and working on plans over several years. Ability to plan and design solutions for customers (i.e. storage solutions, kitchens, Bath, etc.)
