What you'll be doing day to day

In this role, you’ll sit near the beginning of the IKEA product journey. As a Goods Flow and Capacity Team Leader, responsible for leading the team that ensures the highest goods are available for customers for the Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will: Planning and coordination with internal and external colleagues with the aim of ensuring smooth flow of inbound and outbound goods. Ensure reporting requirements for yard inventory are monitored and followed. Lead the yard team and establish best practices for yard management. Communicate with partners and stakeholders any deviation to established processes, guidelines, or forecasting. Sustain data integrity in the Flow & Capacity systems, including the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supporting planning and transport systems. Recognize and contribute to the development of co-workers and future IKEA leaders. Maintain relationships with transportation vendors and support the central team with booking. Sensible completion of time and pay system requests and tracking. Maintain a clean and safe work area in all locations within the fulfilment unit. QUALIFICATIONS

1 to 3 years of leadership experience preferred. Pro-active and analytical problem-solving skills. High level of analytical and quantitative skills. Able to communicate inventory analysis to a diverse audience. Requirements Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
