What you'll be doing day to day

The Installation Supervisor supports the on-site Installation team. This position oversees the customer interface and supports plans for the assembling and installation of products in a customer's home. The Supervisor remotely manages a team of on-site Measurement Technicians, Assembly Technicians, and Installation Technicians to partner in the creation of a customer's dream solution in the customer's home through a respectful approach, delivering a positive IKEA experience. • Supervises and directs the daily operations of the Installation team. Ensures that the teams efficiently perform and complete the product installation according to directions and consistent with IKEA standards, including ensuring the jobsite is maintained in an organized and orderly fashion. • Addresses and resolves customer and co-worker concerns, demonstrates empathy, and reinforces the IKEA values and IKEA Home Services Concept • Hires, onboards and trains co-workers. Directs the overall selection, onboarding, coaching and development of co-workers. Creates individual development plans to secure succession. Manages resource planning, coworker relations issues and performance and delegates responsibilities. • Contributes to the IKEA commercial priorities for installation sales programs within an assigned district area to ensure the achievement of sales, margin, close rate, and profitability goals. • Audits on Referral Partner performance and installation quality. Delivers recommendations based on deep understanding of performance metrics and industry forces to Regional Manager. • Creates and facilitates constructive operational relationships with a sub-region of IKEA stores, utilizing the matrix relationship with the sales and customer focused teams. Generates presentations, coaching methods, and communication for IKEA Home Services offerings, both remotely and through onsite meetings with IKEA store teams.
