What you'll be doing day to day

"As a Risk & Compliance Specialist, driving function performance and development within the unit, you will: • Promote risk awareness in the unit to support informed decision-making aligned with unit goals and business plans. • Support the Risk Manager in analyzing Safety & Security trends to identify, manage, and mitigate key risks in the unit. • Ensure accurate administration of accounting practices, purchase orders, and invoices, adhering to legal requirements and IKEA financial rules. • Support the unit in ensuring operational Compliance with internal and external expectations. • Ensure unit compliance with local, state, and federal requirements for operational licenses. • Manage access to the internal control system(s) and supports unit leadership in ensuring timely and accurate use. • Collaborate with the Unit Management Team to analyze risks, establish local controls, and integrate key internal controls for streamlined operational efficiency and a positive shopping experience. • Contributes to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers."

Relocation Support: No JOB TYPE – Regular, Full-time, Hourly Team Leader; In Location, Onsite; Retail, Services, Supervisor, People and Business Management, Home Furnishing HOURS – From 38 to 40 hours per week (HL4) SHIFTS – Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required; Operations generally range between the window of 6am to 10:30pm; Minimum one weekend off per month; Work schedules are published one month in advance.
