What you'll be doing day to day

You'll help enhance the in-store customer experience by creating a strong visual impression in line with the IKEA brand: - Constructing, building, and preparing in-store media to secure range presentation and the IKEA visual identity. - Reducing the environmental footprint by working consciously with resources and materials and maximizing opportunities to recycle and reuse materials. - Staying up to date and knowledgeable about carpentry trends to increase quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional carpentry-related experience • License and/or certification in carpentry preferred (OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 certification) • Building/framing walls experience is required • Joinery experience is required • Painting and wallpaper installation in a professional level on large scale walls experience is required • Tiling/floor installation experience is required • Computer proficiency using Microsoft Excel for budgeting/ordering materials is required • Experience with Drills, Chop Saw/Milter Saw, Table Saw required
