What you'll be doing day to day

- Assisting customers and providing advice on the best solutions for their homes. - Keeping your sales floor tidy, priced and fully stocked to give customers a positive shopping experience. - Acting as an expert and consultant on a broad range of home furnishing solutions, products and services to inspire and inform customers. - Guiding customers toward top-selling and prioritized products. - Assembling display products for the introduction of new products.

Qualifications

* 2-3 year experience in retail sales, preferably in the home furnishing sector. * Knowledge of how to build quality IKEA furniture. * Knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles. Be able to inspect article items and determine what's the best way to recover and keep it going to landfill. * Attention to detail while multi-tasking is a must. * Ability and flexibility to shift focus easily. * Medium to high level of technology savviness using multiple systems in handheld devices, as well as computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, etc. * Ability to self-start and have good and quick decision making. * Experience working in a customer and commercial-oriented business. * Must be able/comfortable to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50-75lbs. or more.
